Bengali Document Translation for UAE Use
A Bangla document does not come with one default UAE route. Start with the complete file, the organisation receiving it and the language that organisation requested.
- Keep a Kabinnama with its registration page rather than sending a cropped extract
- Show both sides of NID, BMET and other records when either side carries a number or seal
- Use the passport or existing destination file as the English-name reference
- Ask the recipient whether it wants Arabic, English or another target language
- Treat translation, provider credentials and document attestation as three separate checks
Translation Services for the Bengali Community
A Kabinnama, NID record and academic marksheet raise different questions. Choose the document family, then check the language, recipient and required output.
Kabinnama & Civil Records
Marriage, birth, identity and family records often depend on registration pages, consistent dates and passport spellings.
🎓Marksheets & Qualifications
Keep marksheets with certificates so institution names, subjects, grades and roll numbers can be read together.
⚖️Affidavits & Legal Files
The named court, lawyer or authority determines the target language, provider credential and submission format to check.
🏢RJSC & Business Records
Company records may combine Bangla, English, tables, stamps and handwritten endorsements on the same file.
✓Before You Send
Use the document checklist to catch missing reverse sides, faint seals and different spellings before requesting a quote.
When a Bangla file crosses systems
A name, registration number or seal can matter more than the English document label used in a message.
Use the document checklist before sending the file. If the required output is English, continue to the Bengali to English service page. This hub remains the intake route when the target language or recipient has not yet been settled.

Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about our translation services.
What should I send for a Bengali translation quote?
Send the uncropped front and back of every relevant page. For a Kabinnama, include the registration page; for NID or BMET records, include every side carrying a number, seal or note. Add the recipient, target language, intended use and the passport spelling of each name.
Should a Bangla document be translated into Arabic or English?
Ask the receiving organisation. A university abroad may request English, while a named UAE court or authentication service may specify Arabic and a particular provider credential. The document's country of issue does not answer that question.
What is the difference between Bengali and Bangla on a document?
They commonly refer to the same language and script; the Unicode Standard notes that users in Bangladesh and West Bengal prefer the name Bangla. It also records two-part Bangla vowel signs that display around a consonant. Send the original full-page image rather than retyping or cropping the text.
Who may provide Bengali translation in the UAE?
Federal Decree-Law No. 22 of 2022 requires translators and translation houses practising in the UAE to be registered and licensed, apart from a narrow judicial-authority exception. Article 3 is a separate rule about what courts and authentication or certification authorities may accept. Ask the quote to name the fulfilling provider and registered language pair.
Did 30 March 2025 create a cutoff for older Bangladeshi documents?
No. It is the Convention's entry-into-force date for Bangladesh, not a rule that automatically sends every earlier document down a different chain. Bangladesh's current official recognized-country directory also does not list the UAE. Check the actual recipient and current official instructions instead of using the document's issue date as a shortcut.
How should Bengali names appear in the translation?
Provide the passport spelling and any English or Arabic version already used in the destination file. A different transliteration can break a match even when the Bangla source is correct, so the written scope should identify the controlling reference before work begins.
What should the quote tell me?
Ask it to name the source and target languages, pages included, layout or table work, fulfilling provider and credential where relevant, delivery format, price and realistic timing. Anything still dependent on the recipient should be marked as a question, not converted into an acceptance promise.
Is attestation included with translation?
No. OnlineTranslation.ae does not sell attestation. UAE MOFA describes attestation as verification of signatures and seals; translation is a different task. The issuing country, document type, destination and recipient determine which official steps may apply.
