Send Your DocumentThis guide covers the translation steps for Indian degree equivalency in the UAE. It does not cover attestation or the equivalency application. MOHESR decides those.
Who issues degree equivalency in the UAE?
The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MOHESR) runs qualification recognition for degrees earned outside the UAE. Start with the official Qualification Recognition service and the u.ae guide to qualification recognition. For how equivalency differs from translation, read about MOHESR equivalency.
Which Indian documents may need translation?
Most Indian degree certificates, mark sheets and transcripts are issued in English. They often need no translation for MOHESR. Translation comes in only when:
- a document, stamp or seal is in Hindi or a regional language; or
- the receiving body, such as an employer or a UAE authority, asks for an Arabic version.
Check the current document list on the MOHESR portal before you order anything.
What we do
- English to Arabic and Arabic to English translation of the documents you send, with every stamp and seal shown.
- Arabic–English translations are signed by an MOJ-licensed legal translator.
- We check the documents and confirm the price before payment. Fixed-scope pricing for a common case is on the Indian degree certificate page.
For the degree translation service itself, see degree certificate translation.
What we don’t do
We do not attest documents, handle MOFA steps or file the equivalency application. Those steps stay with you and the relevant authorities, and the authority decides.
Send the documents and the instruction you received with the WhatsApp button on this page for a scope check.
Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about our translation services.
Do Indian degrees need translation for UAE equivalency?
Most Indian degrees and transcripts are issued in English, so many files need no translation. Translation is needed only where a document is in another language, such as Hindi or a regional language, or where the receiving body asks for an Arabic version. Check the current MOHESR document list first.
Do you handle attestation or the equivalency application?
No. We translate documents. Attestation, MOFA steps and the equivalency application itself stay with you and the relevant authorities, and MOHESR decides the equivalency.
Who signs the translation?
Arabic–English translations are signed by an MOJ-licensed legal translator. We confirm the language pair and the price before payment.
