This page is based on a real ADJD will-template enquiry. The customer had two Wills,
mostly based on the ADJD template, with one section significantly changed and the other
sections mainly filled with names, passport numbers, and personal details.
Even in that situation, the translation is not treated as a one-clause job. The legal

the overall translation but a small detail: the Arabic spelling of a name, a passport number,
a repeated reference, or a clause that needs to match the submitted template.

Translation Review Is Not Legal Drafting Advice
The legal translator can review the Will for translation scope, spelling consistency, and
bilingual presentation. That is different from legal advice about whether the Will itself is
drafted correctly for your estate plan. If ADJD or your lawyer asks for wording changes, send
the comment back so the translation file can be updated against the requested wording.
Correction Handling for This ADJD Case

Is the translation stamped for ADJD use?
The translation is prepared by an MOJ-licensed legal translator and delivered as a stamped PDF. We can also provide a Word copy so requested edits can be handled clearly.
Do you review only the changed section?
No. Even if only one clause or section was significantly changed, the legal translator still needs to view the full Will so names, numbering, references, and bilingual wording stay consistent.
What name documents should I send?
If available, share Emirates ID copies for the people named in the Will. If a person does not have an Emirates ID or UAE entry visa, provide the official Arabic spelling of their name when you have it.
Are ADJD-requested changes included?
For this quoted package, the customer was offered no additional translation charge for requested changes. New documents, legal redrafting, or a materially different scope still need translator review.
