We translate judgments, decrees and orders issued by courts outside the UAE into Arabic: divorce and custody decrees, maintenance orders, and civil or commercial judgments, from English, French, Russian, Urdu and other languages. There is no published price on this page: send the judgment on WhatsApp. A real person on our team replies on WhatsApp within 1 to 3 minutes and then confirms the exact price for your file before you pay.

What this order covers

Document and direction
A judgment, decree or court order issued outside the UAE, translated into Arabic. Judgments from UAE courts have their own page.
What the translation covers
Every page: the court name and seals, the case number and dates, the parties, the reasoning, the operative orders, any certificate of finality attached to it, and the stamps and notes on every page.
What you receive
A legal translation into Arabic stamped and signed by an MOJ-licensed translator, laid out so each order can be matched to the original, as a digital PDF.
What we need from you
A clear scan of every page of the judgment, including attached certificates and the back of each page, and the UAE court or authority it is going to.

Next step: Send the judgment on WhatsApp. We check the language and page count, confirm the price and timing and then send the payment link. The court or authority receiving the translation decides what else it needs with it and makes the final acceptance decision.

About translating foreign court judgments

OnlineTranslation.ae is an independent service partner. A judgment from a court abroad often has to be read by someone in the UAE who works in Arabic. A divorce decree from the UK, India or the Philippines may be needed when a person registers a new marriage here, updates a family file or asks for custody arrangements to be taken into account. A commercial judgment may be filed in a case between companies that trade on both sides.

Judgments are long and precise. The orders a court makes, who keeps the children, who pays and how much, when the divorce became final, sit at the end of pages of reasoning, and one wrong word in an order changes its meaning. We translate the reasoning and the operative part with the same care, and we keep names, dates, case numbers and amounts exactly as the court wrote them.

Foreign judgments often come with extra papers: a decree absolute or certificate of finality, a sealed copy statement, or a court note on the back. Those pages are part of what a UAE reader looks at, so we translate them with the judgment instead of leaving them out.

What a foreign court judgment looks like on paper

  • The first page names the court, the division or family court, the case number and the hearing date, with the court seal or emblem at the top.
  • The parties are named as applicant and respondent, or claimant and defendant, sometimes with their lawyers and addresses.
  • The body sets out the facts, the claims and the reasoning, then the operative part lists each order the court makes, numbered or in separate paragraphs.
  • The last pages carry the judge or registrar signature, the date of issue, the court stamp, and often a separate certificate that the judgment is final.

What to send

  • A clear scan of every page of the judgment or decree, in the order they appear.
  • Any certificate of finality, decree absolute or sealed copy statement attached to it.
  • The back of each page if anything is stamped or written there.
  • The UAE court, authority or employer it is going to, and the language it was issued in.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about our translation services.

How much does it cost to translate a foreign court judgment?

We do not publish a fixed price here, because one order is a two-page divorce decree in English and the next is a forty-page commercial judgment in French, and we would rather confirm an honest figure for your own file. Send the judgment on WhatsApp. A real person on our team replies on WhatsApp within 1 to 3 minutes and then confirms the exact price for your file before you pay. The page count is agreed with you first.

Which languages can you translate the judgment from?

We regularly translate judgments issued in English, and we also take French, Russian, Urdu and other languages. Tell us the language when you send the judgment and we confirm the translator before you pay.

Do you translate the whole judgment or only the orders?

We translate the whole judgment, including the reasoning, the orders and any certificate attached to it, unless you tell us the receiving authority asked for specific pages only. If you need only some pages, we state clearly on the translation what it covers.

Does translating a foreign judgment make it enforceable in the UAE?

No. Translation into Arabic is one of the papers a UAE court or authority works from, but it does not change the legal effect of the judgment. Whether a foreign judgment is enforced or taken into account is decided by the UAE court or authority under its own procedure. We translate the judgment; we do not give legal advice or file cases.

Can you also translate a judgment from a UAE court?

Yes. Judgments from Dubai, Abu Dhabi and other UAE courts have their own page, linked below, covering Arabic and English in both directions.
